At Deadeye, we like to work in-house as much as we can. As a small creative team, we get a lot of energy and inspiration from one another in the office. We can quickly bounce ideas, quality check each other, and get be social with other creatives. But as we experienced during a recent busy streak, we're bursting at the seams.
So we jumped at the chance to expand into a second suite at Stagecoach's Greg Ave building.
Stagecoach Foundation
We can say enough about how grateful we are to the Stagecoach Foundation. For those of you who do not know, Stagecoach is a remarkable nonprofit, owned by George R. R. Martin, that is dedicated to expanding opportunities for film and tech in New Mexico. Since we signed our lease at their Greg Ave building just over a year ago, we have met and worked with many alumni of their education programs, and found a great community of creatives and film professionals.
The New Space
We will now operate out of suites 110 and 109, using the additional square footage to spread operations between VFX / DESIGN and EDITORIAL / COLOR. The new suite will function as our dedicated edit + color suite, a perfect space to host collaborators and partners to review and work on their projects together with us. Immediately next door, our second suite will function as a hub for our designers and visual effects artists.
Fiber Ready
Both suites will operating on our secured fiber network, with our synology NAS keeping files accessible and sharable between any workstation between the two suites instantaneously.
Our goal is for our new suite to be operational by June 1..
Just in time for the next quarterly mixer (June 7). We hope to see you there!
